Dr. Melanie Menning
Melanie Menning, MD, MPH, officially joined the OneWorld team of Family Medicine physicians in 2018 after completing her family medicine residency at OneWorld from 2015-2018.
“I love the mission of OneWorld and the staff who always find a way to get patients what they need despite the many systemic barriers they often face. We have the most grateful patients and I am honored to be part of their journey. Every day is a new challenge, but it is very rewarding.”
In addition to her role as a Family Medicine Physician, she is one of the attending physicians for OneWorld’s Community Health Center Track residency program.
Dr. Menning, who speaks English and Spanish, also works for UNMC and Nebraska Medicine. At UNMC, she teaches medical students and residents and completes research about health equity, particularly for immigrant, refugee and asylee populations.
Outside of the medical world, Dr. Menning enjoys spending time with her family, running, playing soccer and gardening.
