Student Programs
OneWorld provides students with a unique learning environment and the opportunity to see firsthand how public health and clinical care intersect.
All students who rotate at OneWorld must be up-to-date with current vaccinations and have an updated Covid-19 vaccine card. OneWorld requires all students and residents to have the bivalent booster prior to entering our clinics.

Clinical Student Program
Our Clinical Student program is open to medical, nursing, midwifery, dental, behavioral health, public health and pharmacy students who are in good standing with their school’s educational program.
Students must be fluent in Spanish, without the need of an interpreter, in order to participate. A Spanish fluency assessment will be performed upon selection into the program.

Clinical Job Shadowing Program
OneWorld’s Job Shadow program enables current or prospective health care students to observe health care employees in a workplace setting. Our job shadowing experience is a four hour, one-time, observation-only experience for individual participants.
Our goal is to help individuals learn about health career options as well as the education levels and skills required for different occupations in the health care field. This experience does not fulfill any clinical or internship requirement, nor does it provide hands-on experience.
Shadowing is available Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants are not paid for their time.
To be eligible for this opportunity, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- Be a currently enrolled student at least 16 years of age
- Be exploring a medical career
- Electronically submit immunization records
- Complete the request form
- Attend a general orientation
- Present a valid photo ID at orientation
- Obtain permission from OneWorld staff before job shadowing is scheduled
