Meet Vickie Adams, MS, SHRM-CP, PHR
Vickie Adams, MS, SHRM-CP, PHR
Director of Human Resources Vickie Adams, MS, SHRM-CP, PHR, joined OneWorld in 2022, bringing with her more than 15 years of experience in multiple human resources disciplines. Vickie is passionate about building relationships at all levels and ensuring best-in-class services.
When asked about her job, Vickie said she enjoys the ability to scout and onboard talent to provide care for all people at OneWorld. Her belief in “service above self” aligns with OneWorld’s mission to provide culturally respectful, quality health care.
“Recruiting, staffing and sourcing, employee recognition, DEI initiatives and more not only solidify our brand, but are a springboard to attract other people to join the OneWorld team and make OneWorld the premier place to work,” Vickie said.
Prior to joining OneWorld, Vickie has held human resources leadership positions in the nonprofit, health care and corporate sectors. She has also worked as a licensed practical nurse and as an instructor of English as a second language.
A University of Nebraska Omaha alum, Vickie earned bachelor’s degrees in education and gerontology and master’s degrees in education and public administration. She has earned multiple human resources related certifications from the UNO College of Continuing Studies; is a Certified Diversity Facilitator; and holds certifications from Emergenetics, Achieve Global Training and Langevin Instructional Design and Association for Talent Development, among other specialties.
“Through every endeavor and in every industry I have worked in, the common thread has been people because people drive my passion to serve,” Vickie said.
