Meredith Rudish, CNM
After completing her Master’s of Science in nursing midwifery at the University of Kansas in 2011, Meredith Rudish, CNM, joined OneWorld’s midwifery team in 2012. Before becoming a midwife, Rudish worked as a registered nurse in labor and delivery, community health and women’s health at various places in Chicago, Illinois, and Kansas City, Kansas.
“Kara Higgins, a fellow OneWorld CNM, and I had a mutual friend. When I graduated from midwifery school, I heard through that mutual friend that OneWorld was looking for Spanish speaking midwives. When I interviewed for the position I realized OneWorld’s midwife team was exactly what I was looking for: A full-scope midwifery practice helping those who have limited access and lots of needs.”
In her free time, Rudish enjoys going on adventures with her husband and two daughters. She also enjoys completing puzzles and taking her dog, Jack, on walks.
Within the OneWorld midwifery team, Rudish specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction, prolapse of pelvic organs and urinary incontinence. She has also provided group prenatal care courses throughout her career at OneWorld.
The OneWorld Women’s Health team is made up of physicians and nurse-midwives who understand women have unique health care needs. OneWorld provides a full-range of health services, including gynecology, clinical breast exams, pre- and post-menopause care and prenatal care.
