Kate May, DDS.
Kate May, DDS, has nine years of experience in the dental field. She joined the OneWorld Dental team in 2019 after spending five years at a private practice dental office.
Dr. May earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science and her doctor of dental surgery degree from Creighton University. She also minored in Spanish during her undergraduate studies.
While she has some background knowledge of the Spanish language, Dr. May said she appreciates the OneWorld dental assistants’ bilingual abilities in clinic to help with patient communication.
“I am continually impressed by the innovative ways in which OneWorld conquers the obstacles our patients face to consistently deliver excellent health care services, sometimes with creative solutions like our mobile services. I know I am part of an amazing community by working here and serving our patients.”
Dr. May primarily works on the OneWorld Fluo-ride Pediatric Dental Mobile Clinic. The Fluo-ride visits area schools and other community locations to provide pediatric oral health care.
“I truly feel like I have one of the best jobs at OneWorld. My assistant and I have so much fun working together, all while helping some really great kids meet their dental needs.”
Outside of the dental field, Dr. May enjoys spending time her husband and two dogs, Wheatie and Maizey. They like to travel, garden and work on house projects together. Her favorite hobbies include cooking, baking and interior design.
